An introduction to the literature of public administration with the goal of assisting in the development of administrative abilities for practitioners in mid-level higher education administration is provided. The bibliography is divided by areas within this discipline and is prefaced by a brief description of each area. (MLW)

A list of financial aid dissertations is provided. It is hoped that the list, which was obtained from "Dissertation Abstracts," will serve as an impetus for readers to pursue further research and to provide recognition for the authors who are building a foundation for the financial aid profession.
