A national survey of 200 colleges and universities with counselor training programs was made to determine what types of financial aid training (if any) graduate students receive as they progress through counselor training programs. Forty percent indicated a total lack of such training, and the others indicated minimal training. (LBH)

The study reported surveyed in 1972 the educational aspiration of all high school seniors in Alaska and in 1973 the extent to which goals were realized. Findings showed that most students do not carry out their plans. Alaskan Natives had slightly higher aspirations, but differences in enrollment rates are not as great as expected. (JT)
