Examination Results of Visually Impaired Students.
Dunkerton, John
British Journal of Special Education, v22 n1 p34-39 Mar 1995
The GCSE (General Certificate of Secondary Education) and A/AS-level examination results for 295 United Kingdom students with blindness/visual impairments were analyzed. GCSE data showed no difference between visually impaired and sighted students, whereas visually impaired students performed better than sighted students on A/AS-level examinations. Results are examined for gender, school setting, and severity of disability. (JDD)
