The Effects of Family Violence on Children: Implications and Strategies for Canadian Educators.

This article examines the role of Canadian teachers and schools in cases of family violence and argues that the educative function requires viewing the child in the context of the family and community. Interdisciplinary curricula are described, and suggestions are provided for teaching all children nonviolent conflict resolution strategies. (Author/DB)
