Factors that Influence Assistive Technology Decision Making.
Lahm, Elizabeth A.; Sizemore, Leslie
Journal of Special Education Technology, v17 n1 p15-26 Win 2002
Interviews with 15 Kentucky professionals providing assistive technology (AT) services for young children with disabilities found contradictions, including frequent espousal of teaming as important in service delivery but less frequent implementation; family members not seen as important members of teams, but client goals rated as extremely important. Results offer insights into the AT decision making and implementation process. (Contains references.) (Author/DB)
