"It's One of Them...I Don't Know": Case Study of a Student with Phonological, Rapid Naming, and Word-Finding Deficits.
Miller, Linda L.; Felton, Rebecca H.
Journal of Special Education, v35 n3 p125-33 Fall 2001
This paper presents the case study of a student with deficits in phonemic awareness, rapid naming, and word finding. The student's response to instruction during elementary, middle, and high school is described and implications for the educational and research communities are discussed. The case study demonstrates the importance of early identification and intervention for students with such severe deficits. (Contains references.) (Author/DB)
