A Case Against Behavior Modification in the "Ordinary" Classroom.

Aside from questioning the necessity of setting up a behavioral classroom, Ryan's first article points out that: (a) powerful reinforcers can limit ranges of behaviors; and (b) in some circumstances extrinsic rewards undermine a child's willingness.
