Assessing the Costs of School-based Mental Health Services.

Evaluated the costs of a school-based mental health program in Baltimore, Maryland, calculating the costs for care of adolescents who had participated in treatment. Results indicated that costs were relatively low compared to costs from the private sector and other community programs. Children with depressive disorders and children with more protective factors incurred the highest costs. (SM)
