Significant Findings of the Massachusetts High School Study and Their Implications for Health Education Programs.
Turner, Clair E.
Journal of School Health, v71 n8 p422-26 Oct 2001
This 1943 paper describes findings from the Massachusetts High School Study regarding physical status and the evaluation of students' health behavior, interests, knowledge, and attitudes. Results found that it was impossible to determine the health status of Massachusetts high school students from the medical data recorded in the schools. There was a separation between students' health knowledge and behavior. (SM)
