Efficacy of Training and Fidelity of Implementation of the Life Skills Training Program.
Hahn, Ellen J.; Noland, Melody Powers; Rayens, Mary Kay; Christie, Dawn Myers
Journal of School Health, v72 n7 p282-87 Sep 2002
Assessed the effectiveness of a model for diffusing a middle school's life skills training program, examining implementation fidelity. Data from observations and surveys of master trainers and teachers indicated that 27 percent of trainers conducted training sessions, and 60 percent of teachers taught the curriculum. Implementation fidelity was relatively high. Participants who conducted training and/or taught the program were more enthusiastic than those who only received training. (SM)
