An Investigation of Two Methods of Science Instruction and Teacher Attitudes Towards Science
Bratt, H. Marvin
Journal of Research in Science Teaching, 14, 6, 533-8, Nov 77
Investigates the effects of a humanistic teaching-learning environment on the attitudes of preservice teachers and attempts to determine whether activities designed to clarify attitudes are useful in improving attitudes toward science. Participants in the study were 134 preservice teachers. Findings revealed that the humanistic environment was associated with significantly higher attitude scores than was the teacher-directed group.
