Evaluation Practices for College Students with LD.
Ofiesh, Nicole S.; McAfee, James K.
Journal of Learning Disabilities, v33 n1 p14-25 Jan-Feb 2000
This study examined the use of psychoeducational evaluations by surveying 91 service providers to college students with learning disabilities. Findings indicated that data from psychoeducational evaluations serve as the primary basis for both eligibility and specific accommodation determinations. Respondents reported the most useful information was the summary of cognitive strengths and weaknesses and that test scores were least useful. (Contains references.) (Author/DB)
