Becoming a Learning Organization: A Precondition for Person Centered Services to People with Learning Difficulties.
Iles, Ian K.
Journal of Learning Disabilities (United Kingdom), v7 n1 p65-77 Mar 2003
This article suggests that services for people with intellectual disabilities in England will need to undergo radical revision as agencies strive to implement person centered planning as described in the White Paper, "Valuing People." It further suggests that services need to become learning organizations, committed to values of inclusion, innovation and creativity, social entrepreneurship, and cooperative working.
