Persistence of Phonological Processing Deficits in College Students with Dyslexia Who Have Age-Appropriate Reading Skills.
Wilson, Alexander M.; Lesaux, Nonie K.
Journal of Learning Disabilities, v34 n5 p394-400 Sep-Oct 2001
A study investigated phonological processing skills of 28 undergraduates with dyslexia. When compared to 31 controls, subjects performed significantly less well on standardized measures of reading and spelling but in the average range. Controls, however, performed significantly better on all phonological processing measures, particularly those involving accuracy and response times. (Contains references.) (Author/CR)
