Spontaneous Talkers among Students with Learning Disabilities: Implications of Right Cerebral Dysfunction.
Suzuki, Lisa A.; Leton, Donald A.
Journal of Learning Disabilities, v22 n6 p397-99 Jun-Jul 1989
Experimental studies and clinical observations have indicated that right-hemisphere lesions produce impulsive talkative behavior. An exploratory study was conducted to investigate whether right-cerebral dysfunction would be evident in the intelligence test scores of talkative students with learning disabilities. The study with 28 children (ages 8-11) did not confirm previous findings. (Author/DB)
