Gender Effects on the University Selection Process.

A survey of 183 undergraduate students at a large university found that male and female students differed in the importance they placed on various attributes of a university. Although there were many similarities in the responses of men and women, women rated safety, diversity, and a broad range and variety of courses significantly higher in importance than did men. (MSE)
