Student Expectations of the University Experience: Levels and Antecedent for Pre-Entry Freshmen.
Licata, Jane W.; Maxham, James G.
Journal of Marketing for Higher Education, v9 n1 p69-91 1999
A survey tested a statistical model to determine the influence of college-bound students' intentions to graduate on their expectations of the university experience. Results indicate two expectation levels, a lower level of realistic expectation about what will happen, and a higher level of expectation about what should happen. Divided by ethnic group, significant differences appeared for intentions and expectations. (Author/MSE)
