Studying Part-Time in Canada's Universities: A Social Change Perspective.

A comparison of national student survey results from 1973-74 and 1983-84 illustrates the changing influence of demographic, regional, socioeconomic, and financial factors on undergraduate students' registration as full- or part-time students in Canadian universities. The findings are evaluated in terms of Canadian social change, especially regarding women. (MSE)
