Some Social Characteristics of CEGEP Graduates

The social class, ethnicity, and sex of graduates in Quebec's Colleges of General and Professional Education (CEGEPs) were studied in relationship to course of study and subsequent work or educational activities. Findings showed no clearcut patterns of ethnic or social class differences in choice of specialization. Disparities in social class varied with ethnicity. (JT)
