Comparing Salary and Employment Gains for Higher Education Administrators and Faculty Members.

Findings of a study show that relative salary increases for faculty and administrators were quite similar since the early 1970s. The small salary advantage for administrators appears to be attributable to gains in those positions whose work most clearly parallels work done in the private sector. (MLW)
