Assessment of the Chilly College Climate for Women.

Some suggest that college faculty treat women in ways that decrease their achievement and lower their confidence. A survey is described that found no support for this view and found some evidence that women are treated as if they were more able than men. Policy implications are discussed. (Author/MLW)
