The Effects of Social Psychological Variables and Gender on the Grade Point Averages and Educational Expectations of University Students: A Case Study.
Clifton, Rodney A.
Canadian Journal of Higher Education, v27 n2-3 p67-90 1997
Study with 569 university students examined effects of gender on positive/negative affect, interaction with students, interaction with professors, motivation, and self-concept of ability, and the effects of gender and these variables on grade point averages and educational expectations. Self-concept and interaction with students had strong effects on achievement, slightly weaker effects on expectation. Gender created a slight interaction effect. (Author/MSE)
