Developmental Changes in the Lag Effect: An Encoding Hypothesis for Repeated Word Recall
Wilson, William P.
Journal of Experimental Child Psychology, 22, 1, 113-122, Aug 76

Suggests that lag paradigm might be used in assessing developmental differences in processing strategies as a more sensitive, general alternative to overt rehearsal techniques. (Author/HS)
