Planning, Encoding, and Overcoming Conflict in Partial Occlusion Drawing: A Neo-Piagetian Model and an Experimental Analysis.
Morra, Sergio; And Others
Journal of Experimental Child Psychology, v61 n3 p276-301 Apr 1996
Presents a theoretical model of partial occlusion drawing, along with three experiments. Experiment one studied whether planning or scanning is involved in partial occlusion drawing, and the second explored whether group-encoding of similar objects creates a drawing problem. Experiment three tested predictions derived on the conjoint effects of object similarity, subject M capacity, and field independence on drawing. (TJQ)
