Video Reminders in a Representational Change Task: Memory for Cues but Not Beliefs or Statements.
Zelazo, Philip David; Boseovski, Janet J.
Journal of Experimental Child Psychology, v78 n2 p107-29 Feb 2001
Two experiments investigated effect of video reminders on 3-year-olds' performance in representational change task. Children in video support condition viewed videotapes of their initial incorrect statements prior to reporting their initial belief; control children viewed an irrelevant tape. Found that children in support condition typically failed the representational change task. Video reminders failed to increase likelihood of correct reporting. (Author/KB)
