Metacognitive Benefits of Taking a Test for Children and Young Adolescents.
Pressley, Michael; Ghatala, Elizabeth S.
Journal of Experimental Child Psychology, v47 n3 p430-50 Jun 1989

Results were consistent with claims that developmental changes in self-regulation could be tied to developmental changes in monitoring of performance and predicting performance. (RH)
