Distance Education: Simultaneous One-Way Television and Group Telephone Conferencing for Satellite Map Instruction.

Fifteen teachers from Edmonton (Alberta), receiving face to face instruction about Landsat satellite maps, were compared to 15 teachers from Sherwood Park (Alberta) who received instruction by one-way television and simultaneous group conferencing. Pupils taught by both groups performed equally well. These results indicate television group telephone procedure instruction is viable. (Author/LC)
