A Study of the Relationship of Student-Teacher Compatibility on Student Achievement in Algebra.

Comparison of seven levels of student-teacher compatibility with student achievement found a positive significant relationship between total compatibility and compatibility in the personal need for inclusion with student achievement. Limited evidence was also found for a relationship between achievement and pupil-teacher compatibility in the personal need of control. (Author/DS)
