Reading Preferences of Fourth Grade Children Related to Sex and Reading Ability

Results showed that in the fourth grade, boys' reading preferences were different from those of girls. Boys placed sports on the top and poetry on the bottom of the list of reading preferences, while girls reported mystery as the most preferred and sports as the least preferred. (Author)
