Utilizing Students' Perceptions and Context Variables to Analyze Effective Teaching: A Process-Product Investigation.
Waxman, Hersholt C.; Eash, Maurice J.
Journal of Educational Research, v76 n6 p321-25 Jul-Aug 1983
A student self-report instrument was used with fourth- and sixth-grade students to collect data on eight classroom process variables and relate these factors to contextual variables--students' ages, sex, and socioeconomic status. Results indicate that students' perceptions of different teaching behaviors have distinctly different impacts on specific student groups. (Author/PP)
