Elementary School Teachers' Sense of Efficacy for Character Education.
Milson, Andrew J.; Mehlig, Lisa M.
Journal of Educational Research, v96 n1 p47-53 Sep-Oct 2002
Examined the efficacy beliefs of elementary teachers regarding character education. Data from the Character Education Efficacy Belief survey indicated that respondents felt efficacious about most aspects of character education. Teachers who earned their undergraduate degrees from private, religiously affiliated universities had a greater sense of efficacy for character education than did those who attended public or secular private institutions.
