Understanding Procrastination from a Self-Regulated Learning Perspective.
Wolters, Christopher A.
Journal of Educational Psychology, v95 n1 p179-87 Mar 2003

Results indicate that procrastination was related to college students' self-efficacy and work-avoidant goal orientation and, to a lesser extent, their use of metacognitive strategies.
