The Positive Effects of Writing Practice on Integration of Foreign Words in Memory.
Thomas, Margaret Hanratty; Dieter, John N.
Journal of Educational Psychology, v79 n3 p249-53 Sep 1987

Results were interpreted as supporting the view that copying foreign language words assists in the formation of memory codes for their written forms. (Author/LMO)
