The Student as Pygmalion: Effect of Student Expectation on the Teacher.
Feldman, Robert S.; Prohaska, Thomas
Journal of Educational Psychology, v71 n4 p485-93 Aug 1979

Results showed significant differences in student attitudes, performance, and nonverbal behavior according to expectation. Positive and negative nonverbal student behaviors had significant effects on teachers' attitudes and behavior. (Author/RD)
