Examined relationship between cognitive style and alcohol/work-related problems among 899 naval personnel with less that 2 years of service. Diffuse orientations scores were positively related to both alcohol- and work-related problems, whereas norm and information orientation scores were negatively related to both measures. (Author/NB)
