Using the MMPI Scale as a measure of emotional stability, drug users and nonusers were analyzed to indicate and predict the extent of emotional problems within the college population. Drug use was shown to be merely symptomatic of emotional problems. Presented at the First International Conference on Student Drug Surveys, Newark, N.J., 1971. (Author/KS)
