Employed questionnaire to study relationships between role perceptions and job satisfaction among military Drug and Alcohol Prevention Specialists (N=102). Found job satisfaction primarily related to perceived importance of prevention duty and organizational efficiency. Found supervisor's emphasis upon prevention duty was significant but secondary.
