Examined whether personal qualities and extracurricular involvement could predict non-academic contributions to a college community or students' sense of success. Results showed extracurricular interests do persist from high school to college. There was no correlation between the academic and personal ratings and students' sense of success. (JAC)

Examined the relationship between personal strengths and college admissions in a study of 205 students who completed a questionnaire. Responses were compared with students' entering credentials and grades. Results showed that intellectual and personal strengths, added to statistical data, could greatly improve the prediction formula. (JAC)
