Raises serious objections to present form of chemistry courses for non-science majors. Instead of watering down chemistry content and presenting science as a better subject than others, emphasis should be directed to teach non-science major students to appreciate chemistry. Fundamental concepts are used to solve problems and students should be able to appreciate basic contributions of science. (PS)
