Shell Higher Olefins Process.
Lutz, E. F.
Journal of Chemical Education, v63 n3 p202-03 Mar 1986
Shows how olefin isomerization and the exotic olefin metathesis reaction can be harnessed in industrial processes. Indicates that the Shell Higher Olefins Process makes use of organometallic catalysts to manufacture alpha-olefins and internal carbon-11 through carbon-14 alkenes in a flexible fashion that can be adjusted to market needs.
