Describes a series of experiments (intended to approximate the research experience) investigating the reaction of ferrocenylmethylation with aniline. Students carry out reactions in nitrogen atmosphere, identify products by nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy and propose mechanisms and structures for reactions.
