A one-week experiment that was designed for providing students in an analytical chemistry laboratory course with an experience in statistical treatment of data is described. This laboratory experience benefited the students in several areas as they gained familiarity with many analytical glassware that they had not seen or used before, the students were able to generate data which helped them in identifying the trends in accuracy and precision and helped them in gaining experience with a spreadsheet program.
