Chemistry Teachers' Estimations of Their Students' Learning Achievement

A study was conducted to assess junior and high school students learning achievement in the topic of stoichiometry by using The Student Conceptual Understanding Test (SCUT). The low student achievement on the SCUT test deserves special attention from chemistry teachers, and it is stated that effective teaching strategies to promote student understanding should be developed.
