The Incorporation of Single Crystal X-Ray Diffraction into the Undergraduate Chemistry Curriculum Using Internet-Facilitated Remote Diffractometer Control
Szalay, P. S.; Hunter, A. D.; Zeller, M.
Journal of Chemical Education, v82 n10 p1555-1557 Oct 2005
The benefits of integrating single crystal X-ray diffraction into the curricula of the disciplines of science such as chemistry, biology, biochemistry physics, and many more are addressed. The results showed that students were able to complete all report requirements with the aid of handouts and instructor inputs, and remote control of the deffractometer was used to transfer data from host site to remote site.
