"One Firm Spot": The Role of Homework as Lever in Acquiring Conceptual and Performance Competence in College Chemistry

The learning opportunities that the students had in a general chemistry college course is analysed to build a model of science learning at the college level. The results suggest that authentic and contextualized home work can improve the learning in college classrooms.
