Werner, Emily; Dawson, Geraldine; Osterling, Julie; Dinno, Nuhad
Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders, v30 n2 p157-62 Apr 2000
This retrospective study compared videotape footage at 8-10 months of 15 children later known to have autism spectrum disorder and videotapes of 15 same-age children with typical development. The strongest finding was that infants with early onset autism were much less likely to orient when their name was called than typically developing infants. (Contains references.) (DB)
