Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders, v31 n4 p385-98 Aug 2001

Teachers encouraged use of specific communication forms to replace specific prelinguistic behaviors. During intervention, the replacement forms increased and prelinguistic behaviors decreased in most cases. (Contains references.) (Author/DB)
