This report provides an overview of the efforts of Iowa's community colleges to train workers for the emerging bioscience/biotechnology sector. The report explains the programs available and the future plans of individual community colleges designed to educate students for careers in the biosciences. Also detailed are a variety of creative partnerships that community colleges have forged with each other and four-year universities, K-12 institutions, area education agencies, and the bioscience industry.
