Two Curricular Settings of an HIV Education Unit Related to Secondary School Students' HIV Knowledge and Attitude.
Clark, Jeffrey K.; Yarber, William L.
Journal of Health Education, v24 n1 p4-10 Jan-Feb 1993
Compares the effects of a Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) education unit in two curricular settings upon secondary school students' knowledge of and attitudes toward HIV prevention behaviors. Findings from experimental groups (n=260) revealed significant improvement of HIV attitudes only in the health education class, and HIV attitude change is related to curricular setting. (GLR)
