Redican, Kerry; And Others
Journal of Health Education, v25 n4 p215-17 Jul-Aug 1994
Health educators must understand how cultural differences affect health. Researchers conducted needs assessments of professional preparation programs in health education and examined attempts by state and local education agencies to develop and implement multicultural teaching aids. Results indicated preservice programs and state education agencies were not sufficiently promoting cultural sensitivity. (SM)
